Frozen in Time - Milk Drop and Water Droplet Bowls inspired by Harold Edgerton

Harold Edgerton's astonishing photographs of everyday events, frozen in time, won him acclaim around the world. His "Coronet" milk drop photo was featured in the New York Museum of Modern Art's first photography exhibit (1937). Not only had his work made a splash in the art and science community, they also inspired many others in product design.

Water Drop Fruit Bowl by Gijs Bakker

The fruit bowl, designed for The Royal VKB is   decorative yet functional. In the form of a falling drop of water, is available in highly polished stainless steel or white.
The organic and geometrical forms of the design merge in a surprisingly lifelike manner.

The Fruit Bowl can easily be moved by gripping the upper part of the drop. The Fruit Bowl is manufactured from highest quality 18/10 stainless steel.
